how to grow tomatoes – Does pruning flowers off my tomato plant give me larger tomatoes?
Does pruning flowers off my tomato plant give me larger tomatoes?
It depends on how big the plant is, and what variety.
Chopping off the flowers will make the plant put more energy into developing the fruit already on the plant, and it'll ripen quicker, and possibly slightly larger.
But personally I'd let the tomatoes develop instead of chopping off the flowers. 10 slightly smaller tomatoes is better than 3 slightly bigger tomatoes. And like the other person said, make sure the sun and air get to the tomatoes on there. Tomatoes can handle a bit of pruning.

Assemble Your Own Greenhouse, Or Allow Us To Help
If you have been aimlessly seeking out a heaven in which to protect your precious flowers, or a store house in which to grow, a greenhouse is just what you need. Assembling a greenhouse is relatively simple, especially when you purchase a quality greenhouse from Gabriel Ash.
Everyone is not a master carpenter, and many of us don’t know how to even start constructing a beautiful greenhouse. For this reason here at Gabriel Ash we can assemble your greenhouse for you so that you don’t have to worry about being overwhelmed by the task ahead.
The first thing you need to start with in assembling your greenhouse is firm foundations. A plethora of people choose to utilise a concrete foundation. When you are pouring a concrete foundation you need to ensure that you are pouring the mixture on level ground. The concrete should set for a period of 4-7 days before you start to build your greenhouse frame.
The next step in erecting your own greenhouse is the set up of the frame. The frame is what will determine how wide the base of your greenhouse will be. Start by setting up vertically erect poles about a distance of 6-12 inches away from one another.
The next stage is the roof of the greenhouse and then the side panels, with the door last. Constructing your Gabriel Ash greenhouse is straight forward, but if you want us to do it for you then its no problem – just specify it when you order your wooden greenhouse.
